Editing Search Parameters
If you have created a search and need to change the configuration parameters, you can accomplish this task by competing the following steps.
To edit the name of a search:
1. Click on the name field at the top of the Research column and type a new value.
2. Save the updated name by clicking in a different part of the user interface — the updated name is saved automatically.
To edit additional search parameters:
1. Click the gear button in the upper-right corner of the column.
The Research column is replaced with the search settings window. Also notice that the gear button turns blue to indicate that you are in edit mode.
2. Alter the parameters of the search.
3. When you have finished altering your search parameters, click the gear button in the upper-right corner to save the changes.
The column appears in the Research body in its original position with updated content. If your new search parameters do not find any content, the search column header appears in the user interface, but the column is left blank to indicate that no content was found.
*If you edit a search, all stored cache data is removed from the local database for the specific search.
