Incomplete Search Terms
If you add a search term that does not include all required values, the term is ignored when you execute your search. You must enter all required values if you want the search engine to include your term.
The following illustration shows an incomplete term on the left which appears as a darkened pill with an outline. After you enter all the required values, the pill appears with a colored fill as in the image to the right.
While you do not want to include incomplete terms in your search, you might find it useful to start with a template of incomplete or partial terms. If you save this type of search as a favorite, it is referred to as a
form. For more information, see
Creating and Using Search Favorites.
