Duplicating an Assignment
Complete the following process if you want to create a copy of an existing assignment. When you create a duplicate assignment, tasks and media assets that are included in the original assignment are not added to the duplicate copy.
To duplicate an assignment:
1. Navigate to the Planner Explorer.
2. Right-click on the assignment and select Duplicate Assignment from the context menu.
A confirmation window appears.
3. Select or deselect the check boxes to verify the properties that you want to duplicate to the new assignment. All checked properties are duplicated.
4. Do one of the following;
Click the Duplicate button to create a copy of the assignment.
If you confirm the action, Collaborate adds the duplicate assignment to the same topic as the original and opens it for editing. The title of the duplicate is appended with the word “copy” and the status is set to New.
The app also displays a notification message in the upper-right corner of the user interface. If desired, you can click the Open link in this message to access the duplicated assignment.
Click the Cancel button to abort the process.
