Configuring a Facebook Profile
The Facebook publication type is required only if you wish to publish to Facebook. This process adds a profile for the currently signed-in user only. You must have an active connection to the Internet to complete the authorization process.
To create the Facebook publication type:
1. 
Click on the User Profile button on the right side of the Fast Bar and select the User Settings option from the menu.
2. Click on the Publish menu option.
The Authorizations panel appears in the right-side of the User Settings window.
3. 
Click the Add Profile button to create a new profile.
4. Click on the Publication Type menu and select Facebook from the list of options.
5. Enter a custom name for this profile.
The name of your profile appears as a tab in the Send To section of the user interface. If you close a tab, the profile name appears as an option in the Send To menu. As you might have multiple tabs, you should consider keeping the name short to more easily identify each profile in the Send To area.
If necessary, you can always move your mouse over a tab in the Send To section to see more information about each of the profiles — including the full profile name.
6. (if applicable) Select one of the Facebook applications from the Application menu.
The Application menu appears if your system administrator has configured more than one Facebook application through the Workflow Settings.
7. Click the Continue with Facebook button to authorize the profile.
MediaCentral Cloud UX connects to Facebook using the application profile created by your system administrator and a new Facebook window appears.
8. Enter your Facebook user credentials in the new window and click the Log In button to link the application to your Facebook account.
If the process is successful, an Expiration Date value appears to the right of the profile name.
9. Do one of the following to save your profile:
Click the Save button to the right of the profile.
The system prompts you to confirm that you want to accept the changes.
Click Yes to save the profile or No to return to the profile and make additional changes.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the list of profiles.
This button does not prompt you to confirm the action.
10. Click the Validate button to complete a final verification of the Facebook profile.
If the values you entered are successfully validated, the system reports “Profile is valid.” Click OK to continue.
If the values you entered cannot be validated, the system reports a “Validation Failed” error. In this case, review your information to correct any inaccuracies or contact your system administrator for assistance.
11. (Optional) Configure additional profiles as needed.
12. Click the X in the upper-right corner of the window or click anywhere outside of the User Settings to exit the settings.
