Adding Image Overlays
Video Clips can be enhanced with Image overlays when the Edit Clip mode is active, using the Add Image icon at the top of the video playback window.
Image overlays can be added over any of the following:
• Video
• Animation
• Still images
To add image overlays:
1. When the Edit Clip mode is active, click the Add Image icon in the Editing toolbar.
The Select Image Overlay window opens.
2. Do one of the following:
Select an existing image from the popup window by clicking on the check mark within the image. You can also use the search criteria to help locate an image.
Import a new image by clicking on the Import image as Preview (Cloud) icon. The Import Files window opens. Locate your image by doing one of the following
- Navigate to the location on your system that contains the file you want to import (e.g., My Computer), drag the file into the window.
- Click Upload a File. The Open dialog box opens. Select the File and click Open. The file will be imported.
The location of the image is set in the original image file. Images should be created with a frame size of 1280x720 pixels, or other 16:9 aspect ratio. Save Images with a transparent background in PNG format for best results.
3. Close the window, and click Save.
The file will be added to the video clip, as well as to the Select Image Overlay window with other imported image overlays.
4. (Option) To add additional graphic overlays, repeat this procedure.
