Publish App Overview

The Publish app enables you to send media assets and associated text to distribution platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and others. You can access this app by clicking on the Publish app icon in the Fast Bar at the top of the user interface. The app has five main sections, as shown in the following illustration.

	Section	Description
1	Publish Header	The Publish header includes the Publish button that you use to initiate your Publish job. For more information, see Publish Header.
2	General	Allows you to enter data for fields that are common to multiple endpoints. For more information, see The Publish General Area.
3	Send To	Includes the Send To menu and tabs for each configured endpoint. You use this area to populate endpoints with custom data for publication. For more information, see Publishing to Endpoints.
4	Asset Editor	Displays selected assets and associated metadata. For more information, see The Media Viewer and Asset Editor Tabs.
5	Asset Editor (Sequence Timeline)	If a sequence has been loaded into the Asset Editor, the Sequence Timeline allows users to edit the sequence prior to the final publish. For more information, see The Publish Sequence Timeline.
